I first found out about Brimfield through an Instagram post from a vintage store I follow when I first moved to NYC. Like most vintage enthusiasts, I was intrigued about this event because it looked so mystical and wondered what it would take to make the journey all the way out to Brimfield, Mass. As I began to explore the vintage scene and community in New York my first few years of living here, I realized Brimfield was the holy grail of flea markets. I knew I had to experience it for myself and make the pilgrimage to the vintage mecca known as Brimfield Antiques Show.
After years of toying with the idea of making the trek to Brimfield, I finally got the chance to go last month on opening day. Lucky to share the experience with the homies, Sota and Rei!! And you best believe it lived up to the hype and then some! Here's a few snaps of our experience.
* Pit stop to pizza heaven aka Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana
* Had to pull up to The Sturbridge Show
* Cozy Airbnb was the move
* Brimfield Antiques Show, the happiest place on earth
* Really tried to limit myself and was mainly there for the experience, but Brimfield had too many treasures I couldn't pass up on. The haul and a few highlights!
